The Course offers two options for specialisation: Medieval Latin Philology and Medieval Latin Literature. The programme of studies comprises core classes, for both specialisations, as well as specific modules for each of the two options. However, students are free to attend classes in both specialisations. In addition to classroom instruction, students will also complete guided exercises, tutorials and training.
Advancement is subject to passing progress tests over the course of the programme. The Scientific Committee establishes the modalities of evaluation and communicates these to the students with at least a month's notice. Further information on the Course is available upon request from the secretariat for the Course and will be published on SISMEL's website. Students outside Italy can choose to sit their mid-term examinations remotely.
