The system of genera and romance literature. A balance, 40 years after GRLMA

The Seminar aims at verifying the storiographical approach to romance literature, which was dominating european studies on the topic: which one was its genesis, which is its heuristic potential, what impact it had on the selection of a literary canon, how much it marginalized important sectors of the medieval production.
