The Italian Hagiographic Library (BAI) originated as collective project co-promoted by the FEF and the École française de Rome, conceived by Jacques Dalarun, then head of the School’s medieval section. After the repertory was published in 2003, with support from the Société des Bollandistes, the project has continued under the auspices of the FEF.
